VA Community Care chiropractic in Irving — what to expect

How VA Community Care authorizations work for chiropractic, what we do at CJW, and how to get scheduled.

If you're a veteran in the Dallas-Irving area and you've been told the VA is sending your chiropractic care to a community provider, this is the page for you. Here's how it works at CJW.

How a Community Care authorization works

Your VA primary care provider refers you out for chiropractic. The VA Community Care Network (administered through Optum or TriWest in our region) issues an authorization for a specific number of visits over a defined window. You bring that authorization to us. We bill the network directly. You pay nothing at the time of service.

What we do differently for veterans

Dr. Williams is a veteran himself. The clinic was built around the kind of care he wanted — and didn't always get — during his service: thorough exam, hands-on treatment, honest plan, no upsell. Veterans get the same hour as every other new patient, plus we coordinate notes back to your VA provider so your chart stays current.

How to get scheduled

  • Call us at (469) 525-5300 with your authorization in hand
  • We verify the authorization with Optum/TriWest before your visit
  • You arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork; first visit is the full hour
