We get the same question on the phone almost every day: 'What does the $108 evaluation actually include?' Fair question. The price gets advertised everywhere; the substance behind it almost never does. Here's exactly what the hour looks like.
0–15 minutes — the conversation
We sit down across from you (no clipboard standing in a doorway) and walk through what's actually going on. Where it hurts, when it started, what you've already tried, what makes it better or worse, what you're trying to get back to doing. We review prior imaging if you have it and any therapy notes you can bring.
15–30 minutes — movement and posture screen
This is the MyoCore-specific piece — a structured movement assessment that looks at how your spine and joints actually move, where you compensate, and what's driving the symptoms. It's how we tell the difference between 'your back hurts because of your back' and 'your back hurts because your hip stopped moving six months ago.'
30–45 minutes — hands-on exam
Palpation, segmental testing, orthopedic and neurological tests where they're indicated. We don't do a fixed checklist; we do the tests that match what we found in the first 30 minutes. If we need imaging or to refer you out, we'll say so here.
45–60 minutes — the plan
We walk you through what we found, what we'd recommend, what realistic results look like in 4 weeks and 12 weeks, and what it costs. No package pressure. You decide what happens next, and you leave with a written summary.
“Patients are tired of being sold to. They want to be told what's wrong, what we'd do about it, and what it costs. The evaluation is just that conversation done right.”
